Dakota Indian Foundation is a non-profit [501c3] Organization. We provide funding for the social enhancement and preservation of indigenous Dakota culture, customs and language.

Grants to Organizations

Through the generosity of donors, the Foundation is able to support activities directly related to the social enhancement and cultural preservation of Dakota people. 

Dakota Plains Gallery

The Dakota Plains Gallery and Gifts support Dakota and Lakota artisans throughout South Dakota. In addition to purchasing artwork, the Gallery serves as an outlet for artisans to “tell their story” through their art.
